Seeking to create this season's finest cardigan, Monocle has collaborated with Barrie to elevate a classic. The cardigan is made from pure cashmere and is available in rich navy or oatmeal beige, finished with ribbed trims for textural depth. Established over a century ago, Barrie stands as one of Scotland's oldest cashmere knitwear manufacturers, and was welcomed into Chanel's Métiers d'Art circle in 2012. Two years later, Barrie created a fashion label to highlight its mastery of cashmere, focusing on contemporary designs such as knitted separates and accessories. The label works closely with communities in Mongolia and Scotland to secure the finest fibres, emphasising its commitment to sustainable sourcing methods and quality craftsmanship. x
